Terms of Use
Effective August 14, 2026
Apex Millennia LLC (“Apex Millennia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates findaa.app, an unofficial Bay Area A.A. meeting finder. These Terms govern use of the service, including its AI meeting-search feature. By using the AI meeting-search feature, you agree to these Terms.
1. Authorized purpose
The AI feature is a task-specific meeting-search tool. It may be used only to locate, compare, and view publicly listed A.A. meetings; ask about meeting-directory information such as times, locations, formats, accessibility, and practical details; and control related map and search displays.
2. Uses outside the authorized purpose
Using the AI feature for any other purpose violates these Terms. The feature may not be used as a general chatbot, companion, friend, sponsor, counselor, therapist, recovery coach, crisis service, emotional-support service, roleplay partner, or source of medical, mental-health, legal, or other professional advice. You may not attempt to bypass its scope, safety controls, rate limits, or technical restrictions.
3. Scope enforcement
Requests or responses outside the authorized purpose may be redirected to meeting search, rephrased to remain within scope, declined, rate-limited, or blocked. We may restrict access when the feature is used contrary to these Terms.
4. Artificial-intelligence disclosure
The meeting-search feature uses artificial intelligence supplied by DeepSeek. It is not human and does not have feelings, personal awareness, or a relationship with you. Conversation context is temporary and is used only to complete meeting-related tasks.
5. Emergencies and crisis support
This service is not monitored for emergencies and is not a crisis service. If you may hurt yourself or someone else, call 911. In the United States, call or text 988 for immediate crisis support. Do not rely on this service for emergency assistance, counseling, or decisions involving personal safety.
6. Accuracy and directory sources
Meeting information comes from public directories and may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Meetings can change without notice. Confirm important details with the listed local source before attending. AI-generated summaries may also contain errors and do not replace the underlying directory listing.
7. Information sent for AI search
Text entered into AI search and limited recent conversation context are sent to DeepSeek for processing. Visible map bounds may be applied privately by the app without sending raw map coordinates to DeepSeek. Device location is used only for a nearby search after permission is granted. Do not enter sensitive personal, medical, financial, or confidential information.
8. Availability and warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apex Millennia LLC is not liable for losses arising from reliance on AI output, inaccurate or changed meeting information, service interruptions, or use outside the authorized purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes
These Terms may be updated as the service changes. Continued use after an updated version is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
